Recently I started drinking protein shakes. I exercise every day and it’s important to give your muscles time to recover. A protein shake can encourage this.

Last Monday I had a heavy legday. I had 4 days serious muscle pain. Couldn’t walk properly. Therefore bought my mom some recovery protein shake at the pharmacy. The protein shake that I’m drinking is the Ettix Recovery Shake. It’s a rich mix of whey protein isolate, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and creatine. Protein contributes to muscle mass growth and maintenance of normal muscle.

A few days ago I had legday again and my muscles were recovered in two days!




What do you drink after your workout? Well, my answer is CHOCOLATE MILK.

Ofcourse you have the chocolate milk from the supermarket, but better and healthier is the dark chocolate that you melt in warm (preferably 0% fat) milk.

You can find a large number of antioxidants in dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is the chocolate with the highest possible percentage of cocoa. Cocoa is good for your health. It stabilizes your blood pressure, it’s good for your heart and blood vessels, it plays a role in your brain metabolism, it increases your happiness and it contributes to a better concentration.

But be careful…
Everything that is eaten and drunk in large degree is bad for health, also cocoa.

Work Out – Drink Chocolate Milk
Chocolate milk contains both protein and carbohydrates, two factors that the body needs after exercise. That means drinking chocolate stimulates muscle recovery and muscle growth after exercising. Chocolate milk is even better than all other sport drinks.



Why is it so important to stay hydrated?

Well, did you know that every cell, tissue and organ in your body needs water to function correctly? Water is so essential for a good health. There are different recommendations for water intake each day. I learned from an osteopath that you must try to drink 1l water for each 30kg body weight. If your body weight is 60kg, you should try to drink 2l water every day.

Tips for staying hydrated:
– Start your meal with a glass of water.
– Try adding a few lemon slices to your drink.
– Keep a bottle of water with you during the day.
– Drink water before, during and after your workout.

Water is the only liquid on Earth that safely reduces weight. Drinking water regularly, suppresses your appetite to a great extent and limits your food intake because thirst is often confused with hunger.
